Alexandria Kennedy, MC, CCC – Counsellor
What I bring to therapy:
I am a wife and mother to two creative and curious kids. As a family we have walked though the world of diagnoses and invisible disabilities together, continually learning as we go. I use neurodivergent affirming practices in my home and in my work to encourage self-compassion, self-validation, and self- advocacy.
I have a big heart for helping people and I have supported friends, family and clients through anger, grief, anxiety, and trauma. I am trained in Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy and Attachment Theory. I have a trauma informed approach to counselling, and I am continually learning new tools to support my clients.
