If you have lived this roller coaster life that is ADHD you will know that these struggles impact relationships with family and friends, it makes it harder to maintain a job, and it can lead to some pretty negative views of yourself. It’s hard because people don’t always understand how hard you try and why certain things are just more difficult for you.
Those with ADHD are not flawed or damaged but instead struggle to live world that was not built for them.
ADHD Therapy involves understanding and validation of the struggles you face daily. Every person with ADHD is unique, therefore I start with what you are struggling with. I incorporate lots of tools and strategies for managing ADHD along with helping you understand what your brain is up to. I can help you find your strengths while encouraging self compassion and self understanding. In a safe space I can support you through the social and emotional struggles that living with ADHD bring.
