Life Coaching in Saskatoon and Online
Do you feel that you have more within you but you’re not sure how to access it? That you need to make a change but aren’t sure where to start? Each of us has the answers to these questions within us, but it can be difficult to figure it out on your own.
What is Life Coaching?
The word ‘coaching’ has different meanings for different people, so what is life coaching? Life coaching is not teaching or leading, but is about meeting people where they are, recognizing they are the expert in their situations, and partnering with them to support personal and professional growth. A life coach works with each person in their particular situation to close the gap between their current situation and their desired future. A life coach does not provide therapy, consulting, or mentoring.
How can Life Coaching help me?
At its core, life coaching is about helping people get from where they are to where they want to go, through increasing self-awareness, using conscious decision making, taking focused action, and creating accountability to measure progress. Discovering things for ourselves has a greater impact on our lives and increases our self-confidence and motivation to continue the journey. Your coach will provide a safe space and partner with you to process your thoughts, beliefs, and values in order to make deliberate decisions and take more purposeful actions in life.
What can I expect from a Coaching Session?
A coaching session is one-on-one with you and your coach. These usually occur every two weeks but are planned according to individual need. Each session has a purpose, set by you, to help you move toward your overarching goals. Your coach will ask questions, challenge assumptions, and provide support and accountability as you discover new perspectives and insight into your situation. These will be channeled into actions that can revitalize your life and keep you on the path that is right for you.
